Congratulations to Katie Rowley (Avenue TC) and Linda Jones (Ventnor TC), who met in The Final of the latest ITF World Masters Grasscourt Championship played at Wimbledon 10th to 17th August.
Having made the final of the +55 Singles Section, they had an epic battle lasting over three hours in searing temperatures in front of an enthusiastic crowd at the Aoranji Courts at Wimbledon, Katie Rowley finally edging an incredidibly close match 6-0 3-6 6-3!!
Compliments to both Katie and Linda for their achivement in making the final, and what an accolade for our league for it being an ALL P&D FINAL!!!
